SENSS Summer Conference 2025
The SeNSS/SENSS Summer Conference 2025 is scheduled to take place at Cranfield University from Wednesday 9 to Friday 11 July 2025.
This year’s conference - which follows the theme of ‘social sciences beyond academia’ - is our first conference bringing together the cohorts from both DTP1 and DTP2.
Key sessions planned for this year’s conference will include:
‘Social sciences beyond academia’ keynote address with Pam Cox, former SeNSS Director and MP for Colchester.
‘Public discourse and harassment in online spaces’ presentation and discussion, hosted by ‘The Conversation’
Deep-dive cross-Pathway/Thematic area discussion sessions.
A roundtable discussion as the final session to our SENSS Scholar Series: Generative AI in Research training series.
Plenty of time to socialise and get to know each other, including a BBQ on the first night followed by a quiz hosted by the SeNSS Student Committee, and a drinks reception and formal dinner on the second night.
